About Us

BEAUFORT TEA PARTY, SOUTH CAROLINA

The beauty of our wonderful nation is the Freedom to speak our minds, but with that freedom, comes responsibility!Sir Issac Newton observed: For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction.  WE  the members of the Beaufort Tea Party firmly stand behind the belief in  a strong Declaration of Independence and the United States  Constitution.      We do not need to split ourselves over issues that  will derail us from returning to smaller federal government, less taxes  with no earmarks, freedom of speech, religion and press.  People must be  secure in their persons, papers and property.  Our founders who wrote  the 2nd Amendment must have foresaw Charlton Heston decrying  "Not From  My Cold Died Hands!"  With  this in mind, we open the "Blog" - Our Rights And Freedoms to you to  vent, voice and tell us what you feel we should stand upon or what to  step away from.

Please remember... We are not a POLITICAL PARTY,just a loosely formed group of Dedicated Americans, who want government to hear our voices!  Let's get our country back before we let sub-issues divide us!

Who We Are

We  are your friends, neighbors, brother, sister, parent, aunt, uncle and  in-law.  Look about you today and see people concerned about their  future and the future of coming generations.  Will the United States of  America that we have known, while on the path our elected leaders have  chosen for us, continue to exist?  Each and everyone of us have  immediate concerns for our future and the Nations future.

  •  A peaceful assembly of citizens
  •  To voice concern over excessive Federal spending
  •  Stopping the extension of Federal power beyond Constitutional limits
  •  Protest the blatant disregard of personal and property rights of individuals
  •  Promote free practice of religious freedom.  Freedom Of Religion, not Freedom  From Religion

To help, please volunteer!

This  is not about party politics.  This is about  being an American.   Republican, Democrat, Independent or Libertarian.   Black, white, gay,  straight, Christian, Jewish or Muslim, we don’t care  who you are.

It  is about being an American, what we are and the  rights and liberties  we hold sacred as a Nation.  We, The People, have  traveled a long road  through many hardships to evolve as a country.   Throughout that journey  two things remained constant: Our rights,  freedoms and liberties as  declared in the Declaration of Independence  and the Constitution.

On  September 11, 2001, we faced an enemy  that some had thought to be not a  serious threat.  It was not the first  time we were attacked upon our  own shores, but it was the most  horrifying.  We know it wont be the  last.

The True American  Spirit exemplifies all that is good in  humankind, and on September 12,  2001 it shined brightly.  We, as a  united people faced our enemies and  lent each other our hands, hearts  and courage.

Some may sneer  that we are just waving our flags  or playing our patriotic songs.  They  are wrong.  It is about our  beliefs and principles, our rights and  freedoms.  It is about the  Declaration of Independence and the  Constitution.  It is upon these  documents that the foundation of our  nation sits.  Destroy or undermine  them, you destroy us.  We cannot  allow that to happen.

The  912 Project re-ignites that unity we  felt on September 12, 2001 after  we, as a nation, were attacked.  We The  People remain united upon the  Declaration of Independence and the  Constitution, which protect our  unalienable rights and freedoms.

Life,  Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness
Right to be secure in our  persons and property
Right to Peaceful Assembly
Freedom of  Religion
Freedom of Speech
Right to bear arms
Taxation with  responsible representation
Separation of the Executive, Judicial and  Legislative Branches

These  are just a few, but all of them must  be vigorously and continuously  defended.  Today and everyday, is your  time to defend your rights and  freedoms.

God bless the USA!
